Professional Profile
I have been working in Bangladesh Police since 20 December 1989. Starting my career as an Assistant Superintendent of Police, I have served in important mid and senior level positions in different units of Bangladesh Police and have been promoted to present rank in due time. I have work experience both in operational units and in the national Police Headquarters. I worked in the United Nations Peacekeeping Operations in Haiti, Bosnia and Herzigovina and Sierra Leone and served in different leadership positions. I also served in United Nations Headquarters in New York under Department of Peacekeeping Operations in a professional category for 03 years. I was awarded UN Peacekeeping Medal in my all capacities. In recognition of my outstanding service in the Police
Department, I received IGP's (Inspector General of Police) Medal four times. I have been working professionally and sincerely in the Police Department with a view to serving my country. I take regular classes to senior police officers on specialized topics like Core Competencies of Police Officers, Leadership Approach, Human Rights and
constitution, Promotion and Protection of Women and Children, Violence against women and children etc as resource personnel in different training institutions of police.
