Dr. Nazmul Amin Majumdar has over 34 years of experience in both Australia and Bangladesh in public service, corporate, research, and academia. Dr. Majumdar holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture (Honors) from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), a Master of Science in Agronomy from the Institute of Postgraduate Studies in Agriculture (IPSA), a Master of Public Policy and Management from Monash Business School at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, a Ph.D. in Business and Economics from Monash Business School at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and an Advanced Certificate in Business Administration from IBA, Dhaka university.

He began his professional career at the British American Tobacco Company (BATBC) in 1990. In 1993, he initially joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) in the Agriculture Cadre and later to the BCS Administration Cadre in 1994. As a career civil servant in Bangladesh, he held various positions and ultimately served at the highest government institute from April 1994 to April 2024. From January 2006 to December 2010, he taught at Monash Business School, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.He also served as an adjunct professor at several renowned public and private universities in Bangladesh, including IBA, Dhaka University, North South University, BRAC University, Independent University Bangladesh, and East West University from May 2011 to May 2024. He has authored 4 books and more than 25 scholarly works, including research reports, conference papers, and journal articles, all of which have been presented and published both home and abroad.
